One word that I truly hate in this world is... SPORT
It all started when I was in the junior high school. My sport teacher at school named Mr. Yono and I hated him so much (sorry to say, but it's true). And I didn't think that he liked me either. Haha. Maybe I was one of his dumbest students. LOL. I hated him for the heavy exercises he always instructed, the way he taught the theories of basketball/volleyball/whatever, the way he acted and everything about him.
I had the sport lesson once a week, for the duration of about one and a half hours each. For the opening of the lesson, we were always instructed to run around the basketball court for 5 times. Gosh, it was hard. Then we had the warm-up session continued with the core session. For the core session, the sports we played the most were basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, long jump and shot put. When we played the basketball or volleyball, we never really played the game. We only learned to dribble the ball correctly, shot correctly, etc.
When I was in the senior high school, things were getting even worse. The teacher was not as strict as Mr. Yono, but I still hated when it came to the sport lesson. It had almost the same activities as in the junior high school, except that we really played the game during the core session. And I was always put in the 2nd team alias the team consisted of some less-talented students.
When we played the basketball, I couldn't dribble the ball correctly. I couldn't catch the ball when a friend threw it to me. I didn't know how to throw the ball. I was afraid of the ball actually. LOL.
When we played volleyball, I couldn't serve nor throws the ball. I couldn't get the ball either. Every time I tried to throw or serve the ball, I hardly reached the net. Haha. (Actually my hand couldn't even get the ball back when I tossed it to the air LOL). And to remind you, I was always afraid of the ball during the game.
I remember, when I was in the 2nd grade of senior high school, my mark was so bad for the sport lesson. I got only 5. The teacher tried to help me (and the other less-talented students) to upgrade the mark to 6, as long as we could throw the volley ball to the net for three times. And for that easy task, I failed. LOL.
And for the other sports, I also failed. And this situation stays the same until now. Haha.
Note:
I am inspired to write about this yesterday I went bowling with some of my colleagues. And as usual, I failed. My balls hardly reached the pins since they went directly to the foul line. When my colleagues were fighting to did the strike and got the highest point, I was fighting with myself not to let the ball rolling out to the foul line before it reached the pins. LOL
